Looking for a family-friendly summertime event in Norwalk? Fellowship Community Church will be hosting For The Love Of Norwalk Family Fair & 5k on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024. All members of the community are invited to join in this day filled with fun, fitness, & family! Lace up your running shoes and hit the pavement for the 5k run/walk at 10:00am, then explore the Family Fair featuring an exciting FREE Game Zone for the kids, which will include inflatables, carnival-style games, face painting, a spin art station, a dunk tank, and a photo booth. A local catering company will be on site preparing lunch for families to enjoy together, and sweet treats will be available from a dessert food truck.
The 5k will start and finish on the grounds of Fellowship and participants are welcome to run or walk along the route. Along with the 5k, there will be a shorter Kids Run for children aged 10 years old and younger. Registration is now open for 5k and Kids Run participants. The 5k registration fee includes race entry, a t-shirt, and a medal. The Kids Run registration fee includes their race entry and a t-shirt. Proceeds from the 5k & Kids Run go to the ‘Love Norwalk’ Fund which is invested locally to assist individuals, families, & organizations for community betterment.
