Rob Newton

I grew up in Big Bear Lake, California. I love getting outside and doing all the fun activities it has to offer…except meeting a grizzly bear. I made my way off the mountain to a place called Orange County in 2006. I later met my wife Aubrey at a barbeque. The food was great and so was the conversation, apparently. She eventually asked me out because I never picked up on her hints. We got married and moved to beautiful Des Moines, Iowa in 2021. I soon discovered central Iowa is an amazing place filled with great people, culture, fun events, and food. I call Iowa home and so I’d like to give back by keeping my community encouraged and uplifted.
