Our Mission Jamaica team is raising funds to support the mission work that we will be doing in Jamaica 2026.
We serve at West Haven’s Children’s Home to 100 Handicapped children/young adults doing a variety of projects to include but not limited to: maintenance repairs of their homes/cottages; painting; laundry; feeding of those that can’t feed themselves; and playing with the kids. Fixing wheelchairs; woodworking; welding; helping the kids at school. Helping with the medical clinics or building a home (Jabode) for a local family. Our group alone has been serving these folks of Jamaica since 2001, and over all the Mission Jamaica program has been up and running since 1989, through St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, MN.
