Grab your American flag (any size) and join us on a walk as we remember the heroes and victims of 9/11/01. You can walk the distance of your choice, even 1 to 2 miles! We will be walking alongside Des Moines area streets, bringing a walking memorial to the area. Our rest stops are fire stations so the public can interact with our first responders. It is unlike any 9/11 remembrance event you’ve been to! Free t-shirts while supplies last and free food and drinks all day long.
