On Saturday October 11th the Friends Food Pantry will be hosting a ‘Friends Appreciation Dinner’ to highlight the generosity of our donors. Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
This evening will be used to glorify our heavenly Father! The night will begin with fellowship, appetizers, tours of the pantry, and a silent auction. Dinner is catered by Cater 2 U 2 Catering (formerly Thelma’s Chicken). We have guest speakers from the community and the pantry to share the importance of the work being done and the impact this once tiny ‘blessings table’ has had on our PEACH community.
With hope, this dinner will bring more awareness to the community and garner additional support of the pantry’s continual efforts. Furthermore, this evening will help with raising necessary funds to sustain the patrons of the pantry for the remainder of the year and into 2026.
