🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Awakening Grace Foundation’s 5K Remembrance Color Run in Oskaloosa, IA . It’s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉
Join us to run OR walk the 5K course to remember the babies that have died during pregnancy or infancy. Want something a little shorter? We will also have a mile option. This is not just for families who have lost a baby, but for our entire community to come together and remember boldly together!
EACH participant must register BY September 7 to guarantee a white t-shirt and to be able to include your child’s name on the back. Late registrations may NOT receive a t-shirt.
Extra shirts are available for purchase! $20 per shirt.
Only participants that are 15 years old AND OLDER need to pay for registration. Those 14 and under are free and may pay the additional $20 for a shirt if they would like.
Registration the day of starts at 8am at the YMCA Community Room in Oskaloosa, IA
The 5K will officially start at 9am.
*If you would rather avoid the colored powder while running, that option is available.*
Things to consider bringing:
– A towel to sit on while you drive home to avoid the colored powder getting on your car seats
– Water or beverage of choice. We will have a water station halfway through the route if you would like.
– Cash and/or checks.
Can’t attend in person? Sign up and run (or walk) with us in spirit! We will send you your shirt(s) before October 4th and then all you need to do is grab a couple friends, walk in remembrance, and tag us in any of your social media posts.
