Fly with Wendy and her brothers as they create the world of Neverland, where time stands still and the impossible seems possible. Even everyday objects become extraordinary under the magical moon. A sparkling new production written by international award-winning writer Mike Kenny, scored with exquisite live music and songs, enthralling movement and a sprinkle of fairy dust.

Des Moines Performing Arts is excited to continue our sensory-friendly initiatives.
Dedicated performances contain all the joy of a typical theater setting with a few adjustments to help those with sensory sensitivities feel more comfortable, including alterations to light and sound, a variety of seating options, an environment that encourages breaks when needed, ASL interpretation and staff that will welcome guests from the moment they arrive. Families who do not require these accommodations are still welcome to attend.

Sensory Items are available by request at all Civic Center performances. Visit our Guest Services Counters in both the Nollen and Prairie Meadows lobbies to borrow items such as weighted lap pads, noise-dampening headphones and a variety of fidgets.
