Curiosity can lead to so many great things. Being curious can make us more creative … and find unique solutions to some everyday problems. With summer break here, you might be wanting to take a family vacation. But what if that isn’t in the budget this year? Let’s get curious—and creative! What could we do close to home that would be new, interesting, and fun—and wouldn’t break our budget? I’m asking my friend, Brooke Bouma (host of Road Trip Iowa on Iowa Public Television) to Help Me Understand: where are some places right here in Iowa that would be great to visit with the family this summer?

Caleb graduates from Ankeny Centennial this year. He wants to go into construction, and go to trade school for that. He’s been diagnosed with autism and ADHD, so just prayer that he would be a successful, happy adult who loves Jesus despite his diagnoses. His dad went to be with Jesus about 18 months ago, and that’s been really hard.
