Iowa residents can try fishing without buying a license on June 6, 7 and 8 during Free Fishing Weekend. (All other regulations remain in place.)
Lots of sports complexes have fishable ponds onsite or nearby, and fishing is a great way to decompress during that inevitable tourney downtime!
But you don’t have to be the parent of a multisport athlete to enjoy Free Fishing Weekend – we have lots of spots for you to try, from neighborhood ponds to state parks.
